Apple Cinnamon Donuts
Apple spice and everything nice! You’ll feel like you’re cheating with these yummy treats, but don’t worry, you’re not! Healthy fat (instead of fried dough) and monkfruit instead of sugar make these a wise swap for traditional donuts.
- 1 1/2 cups blanched almond flour
- 1/3 cup Lakanto Monkfruit Golden (or Swerve)
- 1 1/2 tsp apple pie spice
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- Pinch sea salt
- 3 eggs
- 3 Tbsp applesauce
- 1 Tbsp melted ghee or coconut oil
Heat oven to 350°F. Whisk dry ingredients in a medium bowl. Add the eggs, applesauce, and ghee and whisk until fully combined.
Spoon into 6 cavities of a silicone donut pan. Bake for14-15 minutes, or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
Cool for 10 minutes, pop out, and sprinkle with cinnamon and additional Monkfruit sweetener, if desired.
