Deryl’s Famous Salsa

salsa and corn chips in a rustic setting.Every time I make this salsa for a party or a friend I get asked for the recipe and told I should sell it. I am finally sharing my secret recipe. It’s simple. It’s easy. It is delicious!! I haven’t measured the ingredients in forever, I just adjust according to taste tests, but the measurements below will get you started. I also use all organic ingredients for mine, and yes, you can taste the difference.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Fresh Jalepeño
  • 4-6 Tbsp. Fresh Cilantro
  • 1 28 oz. Can Diced Tomatoes (preferably w/ BPA Free liner)
  • 4 Cloves Fresh Minced Garlic
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 2-3 tsp. Cumin
  • Himalayan or Sea Salt to taste
  • 1 Tbsp Fresh Lime Juice (I just squeeze 1/2 a lime)

  1. Blend pepper and cilantro in food processor or blender, then blend in rest of ingredients. For chunkier salsa, do not blend onions or tomatoes.
