Simply Beef and Mushrooms
Find the best quality beef you can and whip up this meal when you want something fast, cheap and easy, but that meets all your fat burning needs. This dish still gets you some veggies, while maintaining a really low-carb macro-profile.
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 pound ground beef (85/15)
- 3 cups spinach, torn
- Sea salt and black pepper, to taste
Place the butter in a skillet and heat over medium.
Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Add beef and brown on all sides for 2 minutes. Add mushrooms and sauté for 3 minutes. When beef is cooked through and mushrooms are tender, add the spinach and stir for 1 minute. Season with salt and pepper.
You can serve this over a bed of more spinach, or shredded zucchini, if desired.
