Burger Salad
This salad has it all, minus the bun. You won’t miss it though because you’ll get a flavor explosion from the crunchy and acidic additions that usually fall out of traditional burgers. Enjoy our masterpiece with a fork, and feel good for hours knowing it’s full of healthy ingredients!
- 1/2 pound grass-fed, grass-finished beef (85/15%)
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 4 cups Romaine lettuce, torn
- 2 small tomatoes, diced
- 1 medium avocado, chopped
- 4 pickles, chopped
- 4 Tbsp sauerkraut
- 2 Tbsp tomato paste
- 2 tsp mustard
Instructions
Directions
Form 2 patties with the beef. Season with salt and pepper. Cook on a BBQ or grill pan to desired doneness (about 4-5 minutes per side). Let sit for 5 minutes, then chop.
Add everything to a bowl and toss well.
