Burger Salad

This salad has it all, minus the bun. You won’t miss it though because you’ll get a flavor explosion from the crunchy and acidic additions that usually fall out of traditional burgers. Enjoy our masterpiece with a fork, and feel good for hours knowing it’s full of healthy ingredients!

  • 1/2 pound grass-fed, grass-finished beef (85/15%)
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 4 cups Romaine lettuce, torn
  • 2 small tomatoes, diced
  • 1 medium avocado, chopped
  • 4 pickles, chopped
  • 4 Tbsp sauerkraut
  • 2 Tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 tsp mustard



  1. Form 2 patties with the beef. Season with salt and pepper. Cook on a BBQ or grill pan to desired doneness (about 4-5 minutes per side). Let sit for 5 minutes, then chop.

  2. Add everything to a bowl and toss well.
